Second round of Engagement

In June-July 2024, we were excited to share our Draft Concept Plan and collect feedback

  • We shared a 3D tour
  • We shared the Draft Concept Plan and other static views of the park that you can see below.

We collected feedback from approximately 84 people about the draft concept plan and used it to make some changes and this resulted in the final design. You can read some of the feedback we received online.

You can experience a 3D tour of the final design on the main project page, and explore elements of the final design plan on the Explore the design page.

The amendments we made to the draft plan to create the final plan

These changes were informed by the community feedback we gathered

First round of engagement

At the beginning of 2024 we asked the community...

What type of park would you like this to be?

We developed three key themes.

We invited you to tell us your preferred theme, so that we could base the design of the park on the community's preferences. We heard from 346 people.

What you told us

Park theme

You told us that there were two parks themes that were equally popular, so our design will incorporate elements of each

Park elements

These were the elements you most wanted to include

Below are the themes, as we presented them to the public

You can also see how participants were able to rank their choices. (These tools are now closed).

The park elements pictured in the theme images will not necessarily be included as shown.

Click on the coloured dots to see what type of park elements we may consider including in each theme.
