We are upgrading Sumner Park pavilion to make it more accessible for the broader community.

  • Plans include the construction of 4 female friendly change rooms and accessible amenities.
  • These proposed changes are in addition to a recent upgrade of the pavilion, which included the installation of a new deck, seating, kitchen and appliances.

Merri-bek is the first Council in Victoria to prioritise the allocation and use of sporting grounds and pavilions to clubs which demonstrate inclusiveness of women and girls in particular.
