Our waste service is primarily designed for residential properties. Businesses in the trial area that pay the waste charge and access our standard service may find that fortnightly rubbish collections do not meet their business needs.

There are different bin sizes available, but if fortnightly rubbish collections won't meet the needs of your business, you may choose to pay for more bins through our Commercial Plus fee-for-service or choose to use a private waste contractor.

All properties, including businesses, that are using Council's waste service can get a larger 240-litre rubbish bin or an additional 120-litre rubbish bin if they need it.

There is a higher waste charge for larger bins. We will give you more information on bin size options in February 2025 when we ask you to pick your rubbish bin size.
