What we heard

In this second phase of engagement we asked the community for feedback on the draft concept plan. We had 26 submissions that we have considered in the final plan.

Overall we received positive feedback on the design.

The final concept plan reflects some of the requests that we were able address like:

• Including a sand pit for young children: we have added one with log edging
• Other play elements for young children: we will be including a timber animal sculpture if funds allow
• Swapping out the fitness equipment in favour of picnic settings. We received 18 votes for the picnic settings versus 7 for the fitness equipment.
