What is planned?

We will be upgrading the park and existing playspace at Ivan Page Reserve in Glenroy.

We have now developed a draft concept plan that you can review and provide your feedback on.


Following completion of phase 1 consultation, we have issued a consultation summary report. This report can also be found under the Document Library section on this webpage. This report will be updated with feedback on the draft concept plan once that stage is complete.

How can the community influence this project?

What can be influenced?

  • What type of play equipment would you like to see included?
  • Where would you like to see seating in this reserve?
  • Inclusion of other elements (e.g. table tennis) if this suits community needs.

What can't be changed?

  • The location of the playspace will need to be determined by Council.
  • Very large play elements (like flying foxes) cannot be included in the playspace as there is limited space.
  • Final park infrastructure upgrades will be determined by Council.
  • This upgrade will only cover the reserve area, not the surrounding streets.
  • We have found a tree in the reserve that has been planted in an inappropriate location. This tree will need to be removed, however new trees will be planted as part of the upgrade.
  • The final concept design must fit within the available budget.
