What is planned?

We will be upgrading the park and existing playspace at Ivan Page Reserve in Glenroy.

Park infrastructure works are starting in December 2025 - February 2026. We will be installing a drinking fountain, upgrading the water meter, upgrading the irrigation system and replacing the park fencing. During this time you can periodically continue using the reserve.

We are planning to start the main park upgrade in March 2026, completing in June 2026. During that time this park will be closed until works are completed.

We have now developed the final concept plan that you can review. This plan reflects your feedback on the draft concept plan and concludes consultation for this park.

You can view the updated consultation summary report with this information. This report can also be found under the Document Library section on this webpage.

How can the community influence this project?

What can be influenced?

  • What type of play equipment would you like to see included?
  • Where would you like to see seating in this reserve?
  • Inclusion of other elements (e.g. table tennis) if this suits community needs.

What can't be changed?

  • The location of the playspace will need to be determined by Council.
  • Very large play elements (like flying foxes) cannot be included in the playspace as there is limited space.
  • Final park infrastructure upgrades will be determined by Council.
  • This upgrade will only cover the reserve area, not the surrounding streets.
  • We have found a tree in the reserve that has been planted in an inappropriate location. This tree will need to be removed, however new trees will be planted as part of the upgrade.
  • The final concept design must fit within the available budget.
