Yes!

People living with a medical condition or disability that creates extra waste will be eligible for a larger rubbish bin (above the standard 120-litre bin) at no extra cost.

We tested this as part of our fortnightly rubbish trial, and it helped households like yours adjust to the change.

Whether you're eligible for a concession or not, all households can get a larger or additional rubbish bin if they need it. There is a higher waste charge for larger bins.

By reducing your household waste you can help to free up more space in your rubbish bin.

Participants in our fortnightly rubbish trial told us they became more aware of the waste they were producing and how to dispose of it, which helped them to reduce their household waste.

For tips on how to reduce household waste visit our trial reduce household waste page.
