A project suggested by the community
A fencing upgrade to the Harold Stevens Athletic Track was proposed by the community as part of Council's 2022/23 financial year community budget idea program and was successful in gaining Councl funding.
The fencing upgrade project involves:
- Removing old cyclone fencing.
- Installing a range of new fencing comprising of 3.6m high safety fencing/2.2m high fencing/1.2m high fencing (see works map below).
- Installing new pathways.
- Installing two new pedestrian access gates.
- Safety and wayfinding signage upgrade.
