What we heard

We heard what was received from the second round of consultation. We have been working on further developing the design based on these contributions and from the first round of consultation. The plan below provides more of a focus for younger users including two slides. A range of physically and mentally engaging equipment for younger users is located closer to the picnic shelter. Swings and gymnastics rings provide some dynamic movement and the larger play unit at the east end provides monkey bars and a range of other challenging engagement for older kids.

We have aimed to provide better access including for users with limited mobility. An inclusive spinner and cubby house will have solid paths and rubber surfaces surrounding for full access.

Planting has been provided for future shade and a shade sail will provide additional interim shade for the younger users.
