We are improving Post Office Place to make it safer, greener and more welcoming for everyone. The improvements will support local businesses and the Glenroy community by creating a more welcoming place to shop, walk, and spend time.

How can the community influence this project?
What can be influenced?
- Improvements to the shopping strip
- Changing traffic conditions
- Moving powerlines underground
- Car parking and loading arrangements
What can't be changed?
- The shopping strip must be upgraded
- The works must be completed within budget and within the part of the road that is owned by Council
- The ground levels must remain the same due to flood risk
- No private property will be purchased by Council
- Existing services and utilities cannot be moved or changed
- Some traffic decisions will be made that are based on road safety standards and cannot be influence by community.
What happens next
We will use the information gathered during the first stage of engagement to develop some concept designs, and we will return to you later in 2026 for further feedback on the designs.
