Thank you for your interest and involvement in the creation of the Moving Around Merri-bek Transport Strategy.

The strategy will be presented to Councillors for adoption at the council meeting on Wednesday 13 March 2024.

Community consultation

The Draft Transport Strategy was released to the public on 13 November 2023, and the community were invited to provide feedback via a survey until 24 December 2023.

During this time, we gathered community feedback to assess the level of community support for the draft strategy and ensure that the document was meeting the needs and priorities of the community.

A total of 255 people completed the survey, including 47 in languages other than English. Of the survey respondents, 83 per cent expressed support for the draft strategy.

Council meeting to consider adoption
The consultation findings and revised Moving Around Merri-bek Transport Strategy will be presented to Councillors for their consideration for adoption at the Council Meeting this Wednesday 13 March 2024 at 7pm.
