How can the community influence this project?

What can be influenced?

  • Type of play equipment
  • Types and locations of the seating
  • Placement of other features and elements within the reserve.
  • Access into the reserve
  • Look and feel of the space
  • Potential road closures around the reserve – Dromana Ave North or Dromana Avenue North and Norton Street West

What can't be changed?

  • The location of the playspace will need to be determined by Council to manage flooding risks in the playground.
  • Large play elements cannot be included because of the size of the playground area
  • No sound trees will be removed as part of this upgrade
  • A public toilet will not be included
  • All design and construction need to fit within the available budget
