What’s happening at Hosken Reserve?
As part of the Hosken Reserve Masterplan implementation, the following tennis facilities will be delivered:
New Merlynston Tennis Club pavilion: We are building a new tennis pavilion with BBQ facilities and a bookable community room.
Tennis Courts Resurfacing: Two clay tennis courts (court 1 and 2) will be refurbished to meet Tennis Australia standards.
Tennis Lighting upgrade: Upgrade of the existing lighting infrastructure to meet Australian sports lighting standards increasing usage capacity and community participation.
Fencing: Existing fencing will be removed and replaced with chain wire fencing, gated access (with book-a-court system), and sightscreen installation to block out material on the southern school boundary.
The community can start enjoying these facilities when the works are completed in December 2023.
