Families with 4 or more dependents will be eligible for a larger rubbish bin (above the standard 120-litre bin) at no extra cost.

We tested this as part of our fortnightly rubbish trial, and it helped large families adjust to the change.

If you're not eligible for a concession you can still get a larger or additional rubbish bin if you need it. There is a higher waste charge for larger bins.

By reducing your household waste you can help to free up more space in your rubbish bin.
