We will be upgrading one of the existing fitness equipment stations and providing a new shelter in ATC Cook Reserve this financial year (before end June 2024).

The new shelter has now been ordered and is planned for install in mid January 2024.

This shelter will also include backed seats and picnic tables. We are also working out some artwork ideas to include with the local community who originally requested this unit.

Fitness Equipment

The two existing fitness equipment stations at ATC Cook Reserve can be found near the north east corner of the reserve, south of Daley Street.

One of these exercise stations is reaching its end of life, so Council will be upgrading it with new equipment and may also include an additional unit aimed at seniors. The newer station will be retained as is. Works will be undertaken this financial year.

The final concept plan is shown below, which includes your feedback on the draft plan as much as possible.

The new fitness equipment installation is nearly completed and will finish before end December.

Installation of the new drinking fountain, furniture and shade trees are also finished.
