• To be eligible, you must own or operate a business within Merri-bek and the prize will be awarded to the business owner or operator only. Business owners or operators may elect to have the prize allocated to an employee.
• Only 1 entry per business owner or operator is allowed.
• Prize winners will be drawn using an online random number genorator and notified by e-mail from business@merri-bek.vic.gov.au in the first two weeks of April.
• If a winner do not respond by email within four weeks, the prize will be re-drawn and a replacement winner will be selected.
• Winners’ names will be published on the Conversations Merri-bek – Economic Development Action Plan webpage.
• The prize is a $200 voucher to spend at a local Merri-bek based business of each winner’s choice; to be arranged through correspondence with each successful winner.
• Vouchers will not be provided for use with businesses who primarily sell gambling services, illicit cigarettes or vapes, or products from businesses that denigrate, exclude or offend parts of our community or may negatively impact the health and wellbeing of the community.
• Merri-bek City Council will make the arrangements with the business and provide a non-transferrable voucher for use by the winner at the selected business. Council reserves the right to request each winner to select a second option if Council is not able to secure a voucher from the winner’s initial selection within a reasonable timeframe.
