One of the first actions of the new Moreland Food Leadership Action Group (FLAG) is to oversee the disbursement of grant funding to support Moreland’s community food groups and enterprises (including food hubs, micro hubs and buying groups) to sustainably deliver socially inclusive food security across Moreland’s diverse communities.

Moreland City Council and the FLAG are offering grants of between $5000 and $20,000 for projects or initiatives that support on-the-ground activities that address food insecurity in Moreland. Your project could also support activities that help us progress work to develop a shared community food hub that unlocks further opportunities for community food enterprises and groups across Moreland.
