The initiatives we received
In this first round of our engagement (Stage 1:Contribute) we received an impressive number of community submissions. We thank the community for the time and effort they put into this process.
We are currently assessing the submissions against the selection criteria and all successful submissions will be included in Stage 2: Support. This stage will open on 13 February 2023.
Selection criteria
Your initiative must:
- demonstrate a strong community benefit
- align to a strategy or policy of the Council Plan 2021 - 2025
- cost less than $160,000
- be deliverable in the 2023/24 financial year
Please note, as per the terms and conditions, we will only accept one submission per individual/group.
If your idea fits the selection criteria, your description will be used in the voting tool in stage 2, so your words will be what people use to decide which idea to vote for.
A 1,000 character limit for the idea description has been set, so that it will fit within the voting tool (we can not change the character limit in this tool).
There are free character counting tools available online if you want to see the length of your idea description, before completing the form.
This form was open for submissions from 21 November 2022 until 11:59pm on 20 January 2023
