Moreland City Council is hosting a local history lecture on Moreland.

It is for interested community members who would like to learn more about the origins of the Moreland name.

Our key-note speaker will be Dr James Lesh.

Dr Lesh is an urban historian and lecturer in Cultural Heritage and Museum Studies at Deakin University.

James has completed independent historic research into the name of “Moreland” which will also be shared in a report to community.
