We will be exploring how the community uses outdoor spaces in Merri-bek through 'Deep Dive Workshops' inspired by the question:

We are holding 4 in-person workshops informed by the feedback we have received so far about how people use our outdoor spaces.

The themes we will discuss include:

• dogs and open spaces
• space for formal or informal sporting activities
• shared paths
• safety

With space for other themes rasied on the day.

Express your interest in attending a workshop

If you would like to attend a workshop plese fill out the expression of interest form. We will then select a group of people who will be invited to attend 1 of the 4 workshops.

Expressions of interest close 5pm 12 June.

We will let know by 17 June if you have been selected to attend one of the workshops.

Why are we selecting attendees?

We are running an expresion of interest process for the workshops to make sure we get a diverse range of people attending each session.

We want to hear from all sorts of people like dog owners, cyclists, sporting clubs, walkers, parents, runners, personal trainers, non-users of open space, Friends of Groups, as well as people of different ages, backgrounds and abilities.

This will ensure the whole Merri-bek community is represented in these conversations.

The selection is being done by a third-party consultant to make sure it is fair.
