We want to hear from members of LGBTQIA+ communities who live in our municipality or visit our Libraries so we can improve our library services, programs and collections.
Not a library user or member? That's okay, we want to hear from you about how the library service could be more relevant to you.
The Lee Ellis Working Group
This survey has been created by the Lee Ellis Working Group; an
initiative comprised of LGBTQIA+ identifying staff from within Merri-bek Libraries.
The working group aims to enact ways to celebrate, include, support, and
provide library-based services and events to LGBTQIA+ members of the Merri-bek community.
The group has been named in honour of the late Lee Ellis, former Chief Librarian of Brunswick Library, who made a bequest to the libraries specifically for this purpose.
The results of this survey will help direct the ongoing efforts of the group by providing insights about community needs, sentiments and interests.
