What we heard

We’ve had great feedback through the engagement process. The last round had 8 additional comments. All were supportive of the dog park. You can read all the comments in the engagement summary through the link below.

The final plan responds to this feedback by increasing the space left for kickabout and providing a new DDA compliant path connecting to the north. The carpark will be resurfaced and lighting will be provided between the car park and the dog park entry on the east side. All gardens inside the park have been designed to catch water flow through the site, reduce runoff and increase infiltration. The use of rock-mulch avoids the use of wood mulch and reduces dog impact on the planting. Existing irrigated grass area have been retained as much as possible.
