Seeking new members of the Food Leadership Action Group (FLAG)

The Food Leadership Action Group (FLAG) formed in early 2022 and consists of passionate Moreland community food leaders looking to increase food security in Moreland.

We are excited to announce that we’re seeking new members to join the group from October 2022-June 2023 to help them:

  • Work collaboratively to establish a backbone organisation for the project, which will drive establishment of a community food hub through a Collective Impact approach
  • Implement and collect data through a Collective Impact Measurement Framework

We are looking for:

  • Applicants who live, work or study in Moreland & have a strong understanding of the Moreland community context will be preferred. EOIs from people directly working or volunteering in the area of food systems or food security and with an interest in building a more food-secure Moreland will also be considered.
  • People with experience in any of the following areas: governance, strategy, finance, legal expertise, HR to help achieve the key goals

The time commitment is around 2-3 hours per month from October 2022-June 2023.

Following an in-person workshop in early October, FLAG members will self-organise the remaining meeting times to suit them.

FLAG members are compensated $30/hr for their contribution as content experts, if in non-funded representative positions.
