Do you have a great initiative for a one-off community program or project?

This is your chance to submit a project, initiative, or program that Council could include as part of the 2025/26 Budget.

Merri-bek residents, community groups, sporting clubs and organisations are all welcome to contribute.

Selection criteria

Your initiative must:

  • demonstrate a strong community benefit
  • cost no more than $160,000
  • be deliverable in the 2025/26 financial year

We will only accept one submission per individual/group.

How does it work?

    They will close at 11:59pm Tuesday 21 January 2025

    Eligible iIdeas will be posted on this site so that the community can support their favourite initiatives

  • Stage 3: Outcomes

    The most supported ideas will be considered as part of the 2025/26 budget process
